Last year Bob proposed a lighting retrofit at Henkel's Cleveland manufacturing facility in order to help us reduce the site's energy costs and environmental impact. His recommendation included a mix of T5 and T8 fixtures in place of our existing metal halides. Of particular interest were the special 3 bulb T5 narrow beam aisle fixtures with occupancy sensors that he demonstrated for us.

Post project results were impressive, with improved brightness and color index throughout the facility. The narrow beam fixtures in the warehouse were particularly remarkable as they provided nearly twice the light in the aisle ways while consuming less than half the energy of the old fixtures.

Overall I was very satisfied with the performance of Bob and his installation crew. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and easy to work with and our project was completed without interruption to our manufacturing processes.

Postive impacts realized through reduced energy consumption at our favility include $82,000 in annual costs savings and a carbon footprint reduction of 700 tons. This speaks to Henkel's commitment to managing our operations in a sustainable, economical and socially responsible manner.
